Karma Yoga from Bhagavad Gita

” योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्”. Yoga is dexterity in action.

Abandoning doership, exerting oneself in action, paying attention to the task at hand is verily Karma Yoga. Work can be done by dedicating the fruits of action to God, supreme power or deity.

This yoga is for all of us, but particularly for people who are very action-oriented who want to attain liberation while doing one’s duties.

  1. The whole discussion on Karma Yoga is meaningless if we do not draw from what Neal has demonstrated in his latest post – humility. One of the most fundamental teachings of Krishna in the Gita is forsaking ones ego in addition to letting go of desires that we talked about earlier.
