Chandi Maa is my beloved divine mother. Maa means Mother. But do you know what Chandi means?
Chandi -> She who tears apart thought.
Honestly, who else is needed now? No one except Chandi. She who tears apart thought and she who takes us to the most silent, blissful and wonderful place in existence…
She is the cure. She is the shelter. She is our mother.
Jai Maa…
For those who want to read the Chandi, I HIGHLY recommend Swami Satyananda Saraswathi’s Chandi Path. It comes with translation. Head to Shree Maa’s website… Download the app if you prefer the digital copy. Their ipad app is the best. Listen to the audio of chantings and then sing along.
Victory to the Divine Mother!!!
Today is Tamil New year’s day. It has been exciting so far. How about we all teach our children “Tamizh Thaai Vaazhththu” on this great day? :)
When you think God is near, He is near. And if there is any question or doubt in our minds, he doesn’t make Himself visible to us. But when the question gives rise to meditation and the question leads to many questions, it guides us in the spiritual path. When the longing to know becomes so high that you cannot think of anything else except God, even God cannot hide from us. He has to respond.
My Dear God, when are you going to come into my heart and stay there forever?! Please come as I need you … This child needs Her mother and father. Divine Maa – Stay within me. My Dear Venkateswara , The Lord of the seven hills and the Lord of the world – Come and be with me.
Forever Their Child,
Sri
Most people are not aware of this but there are five navaratris in a year. This is Vasanta Navaratri/Chaitra Navaratri. Devi worship conducted in this period is very powerful.
What you are looking for (happiness etc etc) … Whatever you are feeling (sadness, disappointment, excitement, jealousy, enviousness, greed, desire)… And whatever you are doing (finding faults, pointing fingers, getting delighted at other’s misfortunes, getting excited about one’s own wealth)…. Everything is in your mind… The Place to look for such things is inside your own mind…
We don’t have to roam here and there like fools and look for this and that (wealth, fame, other’s faults etc) … We don’t have to be beggars… (You know what Osho says about most people who fall in love… ?! They are not different from beggars because they don’t even love themselves and there they are trying to extract and squeeze happiness out of the other person who doesn’t love himself/herself… Non-different from beggars… This kind of “love” is just bargaining… Yeah, you scratch my back and I will scratch yours and let’s call it love…
) We don’t have to be proud or envious… (Why are we proud when what we have can be taken away from us in just a second… ? )
We just have to be thankful to the Lord for whatever we have… Better to be thankful every second, for the very breath that we take cannot happen without His divine consent. The Lord’s divine mercy is what we need!
Yes, my dear Lord – I have no complaints… Kurai ONDRUM illai… I am just thankful for everything…
Devotion is not a joke. Whether you are an athiest or a believer or an agnostic, it is all great. In a single lifetime, people can change from being a non-believer to a believer or vice versa. Change is the only constant. The issues happen when you are a believer and you start badmouthing the non-believers. In the same way, some of the non-believers judge the believers and start teasing them or making jokes about their practices. I personally have no problems with either kind of people.
However, all of us have to be aware of the fact that every thought, every action has a consequence. It is the law of Karma. Hence, one needs to be prepared to face the consequence. Karma does not care whether you are a believer or a non-believer. It works the same way for all. Hence, awareness should be there at all times. With that awareness one needs to act, remembering that every action will carry a consequence. This awareness will save us all.
Today has been a phenomenal day. Thanks to my Gurudeva, everything is happening in a positive way. A kind Vedic priest has started teaching me Devi Saptashati (Devi Mahatmya/Chandi path). Devi Saptashati has 700 verses. The entire 700 verses is collectively recognized as one long mantra. Hence it needs to be chanted with perfect pronounciation. It is a very important text in Shaktism. Leave all the “isms”. It is very important to get the blessings of the Devi.
May The Devi Give Us All Wisdom, Good Health And Prosperity…
My Thanks to the Jagadguru, Sree Krishna!
My Thanks to Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev!
My Thanks to my dear Guru who is everything!
Respectful prayers to my dear Perumal, my lovely Shiva, my darling Krishna and to the Divine Goddess…
